2020 Annual AABE DC Scholarship Ceremony

Please join us on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 6:30 PM ET for a Live Webcast where we will celebrate with five talented and gifted high school seniors as they embark on their undergraduate journey to study Science, Technology, Engineering and Math at prestigious universities across the country. We will feature special inspirational messages from three of our AABE DC Scholarship Alumni and moving keynote addresses from our corporate and public service keynote speakers. 

 Our Corporate Speaker will be Rod West who is Group President, Utility Operations for Entergy Corporation. Our Public Service Keynote Speaker will be Kenyan McDuffie who is Councilmember, Ward 5 for the Council of the District of Columbia.

While we are unable to gather in person for this year's Awards Celebration due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our scholars' needs actually may be even greater now. Despite this challenge, AABE DC has committed that we will not reduce the support we provide our Scholars! That is only possible because of the generous support that each of you provide. Please consider encouraging your organization to sponsor the event at either the Gold ($5,000), Silver ($3,000), or Bronze ($1,500) level! Individuals can sponsor the event at the patron ($150) level.
